1. I will make myself like the Most High
2. God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him
3. Gen.3:4 ‘ “You will certainly not die! …(v. 5) …, and you will be like God…”
God created male and female in His own image, according to His likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]
4. If something looks this good and it’s gonna make me wise, how could it be wrong?
5. This food is gooood!! “Oh, honey, you’ve gotta try some of this!” I guess she I’m not gonna be in this by myself. They hadn’t realized the depth of what they’d done until their awareness increased.
6. It is important to know that the enemy attacked the woman’s perceptions of herself and her God because we need to be fully aware of the tricks and wiles of the enemy. He is very subtle (cunning, wily, crafty) – beguiling and deceitful.
7. We need to be surefooted in who we are and Whose we are! Also, how to stand on the Word of God and come against the evil one.

1. Both are speaking of doing this not according to God and trying to be like God.
2. We’re made in the image of God, in His likeness so that we may rule over the fish the sea and the birds in the sky over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
3.Satan to the woman that when she eat from the tree she will be like God. This conflict with what God said in Gen. 1:26-27 because she was CREATED in the image of God, so she already had it in her.
4.I believe she was going through insecurities, she believe that she needed more than what God had already placed inside of her.
5.Very Important. Very relevant to today, because women are still dealing with today. Every time you turn around you see a woman seeking and searching for more thinking she isn’t enough.

Q6. How important is it to know that the enemy attacked the woman’s perceptions of herself and her God?
Your perception is your reality. If the enemy can pervert or taint her perception, then it will affect how she now sees and hears God, it can change everything, as we see later how she interacted with God.

Q5. What internal conflict was going on inside the woman’s mind about herself?
She knew the voice of God, she now questions that, why is she hearing differently now? The conflict of who to believe and knowing she has a choice because another set of options has been placed before her.

Q4. In Genesis 3:6, what internal conflict was going on inside the woman’s mind about God? Internally Eve was struggling with who to believe, what did she really hear., now she was wondering if God was holding back something by not letting her eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Q3. What did Satan say to the woman in Genesis 3:4-5 to trick her? How does this conflict with what God had already said in Genesis 1:26-27?
“You will not surely die” – Satan got her to question herself, her interpretation of what did she really hear God say, God had already told her she had dominion over everything, she was already what the devil deceived her to believe that she wasn’t.

—- In Isaiah 14:14 Lucifer wanted to be like God. In Genesis 3:5. The serpent said to Eve that God knows that when you eat of the tree that your eyes will be open and you will be like God.
—- In Genesis 1:26-27 Man and Woman was created in the image and likeness of God and given dominion of the earth.
—-Satan trick the woman by putting doubt in her mind by telling her that she will not die and then told her the benefits of eating: that if she eats her eyes will be open and she will be like God. The conflict was it was the total opposite of what God said which was that they will die.
—- In Genesis 3:6, the internal conflict that was going on inside the woman’s mind about God was that God lied to them and that God was holding out.
—- The internal conflict that was going on inside the woman’s mind about herself was that she was not enough, if she eats she will become wise.
—- It is very important is it to know that the enemy attacked the woman’s perceptions of herself and her God because it is the lies that we are told about ourselves and God that governs and shapes our lives.
—-It is very relevant to women today because when the woman’s perception of herself is diminished she feels inadequate and it takes her confidence away and as a result she is always focus on yourself looking for ways to be and look better.
—- I agree with the statement “God has feelings too. If He didn’t, He couldn’t love you.” God is a relational God and created us to be in relationship with Him. God first loved us and God wants us to love Him back with all our heart, mind and strength. God is jealous for us.
My response to the questions on how would I feel and respond if someone tried to steal or destroyed something I invented and was extremely proud of, that I used my mind, bear hands and sweat and toiled to create? Gave me a glimpse into how angry God may feel when the enemy and the people the enemy uses to mess with His people.
