I knew I was not the first person to experience my situation. There were several persons in the Bible who had similar situations. This was a sure confirmation for me.

• Reading the bible, especially when Solomon reminds us that there’s nothing new under the sun
• Holy Spirit reveals truth
• Meditating and focusing on God’s word

Yes. I know that what God has for me is for me. I have learned that even though I am no longer a young woman, that just like the women in the Bible, I have to wait on God.

How have you realized that you were not the first person to be in this situation? I learned that I wasn’t the first and properly not the last. But with God in control and me yelling my control, I could do all things through him and not my own strength, but his strength.

I realized that I was not the first person to be in these situations because it is a part of the life. God’s word clearly states in this world you will have trials and tribulations but he has overcome the world. God uses others and how they handle things to help you as you go through things.
